Summer Intensive for High School Teachers

A Changing Relationship to a Changing World

All high school teachers -- both new and experienced -- are invited to a special High School Intensive week. Together with Jon McAlice, we will delve into physiological and psychological aspects of adolescent development:

  • Can we learn to see how their way of being in and with the world changes?

  • How do we teach to nurture their growth?

We will start each day with singing and join in artistic activities such as black and white rendering of objects with BACWTT faculty. There will be a unique opportunity for participants to work collaboratively in forming an age-appropriate course on a topic of their choosing.

Cost: $400 with a discount for multiple attendees from a school (please inquire).

Information: contact Beth at findingcontextorg@gmail.com

Registration: the workshop page has further details and registration access

The course will be held on the Marin Waldorf School campus together with the BACWTT summer teacher development and rejuvenation courses. It is part of a larger, initiative to form a High School Teacher Education Program (HSTEP) and is a collaborative effort of BACWTT, SF Waldorf School and CCS.
